A TASTE OF TWO ISLANDS. A HOME IN LONDON.
The Mont Blanc Cake
What it is, where it comes from and what makes it so special.
What exactly is a Mont Blanc?
It is a French-Caribbean coconut cake associated with the culinary traditions of Martinique & Guadeloupe. Our individual interpretation pairs a soft moist sponge, smooth coconut filling and a generous coconut finish.
Is this the same as the French chestnut Mont Blanc?
No. It is not the classic chesnut and meringue French dessert. This is the French-Caribbean cake known in Martinique and Guadeloupe, reimagined by Mont Blanc Cakes for London.
What does it taste like?
Light, creamy and deeply coconut forward, with soft sponge, a smooth filing and delicate coconut texture. It is indulgent without feeling overly heavy or excessively sweet..
What size is the cake?
2 inch | 5 cm
Is one cake enough for one person?
Yes. One cake is designed as a generous individual dessert, although appetite varies and it can also be shared for a lighter tasting.

Storage & Freshness
How to keep your Mont Blanc at its best.
How should I store my cake?
Refrigerate it as soon as possible, in its original box or a sealed container, at 5°C or below. Keep it away from strong-smelling foods.
How long will it keep?
For the best experience, enjoy it as fresh as possible and no later than 3 days. Never eat it after that date or if it has been left unrefrigerated for an extended period.
Should I eat it straight from the fridge?
For a softer texture and fuller flavour, remove it from the fridge around 10–15 minutes before eating. Do not leave it at room temperature for longer than necessary.
Can I freeze it?
Freezing is not recommended because it can change the sponge, cream and coconut texture. If storage guidance for a particular edition differs, it will be stated with that product.

Because our cakes are freshly made and perishable, cancellations or quantity changes must be requested before the stated cut-off. Once production begins, a change-of-mind refund may not be possible. Your legal rights remain unaffected if an item is faulty, unsafe or not as described.
Can I change the quantity after ordering?
Contact us before the order cut-off. We will help if production capacity and stock allow, but additions or reductions are not guaranteed once your order has entered production.
